Hey friends! It’s been a busy (and exciting!) few months in my little quilting world, and I finally had a chance to sit down and share everything that’s been happening. If you’ve been wondering what I’ve been up to, grab a cozy drink and settle in — there’s been a LOT of quilty goodness lately!
September: Glisten Shines Bright
Back in September, I released Glisten, a sparkling table runner pattern that I’m so proud of. It’s simple, elegant, and just the right amount of shimmer to add a little magic to your table. Seeing people stitch it up in their own colours has been so fun — every version truly “glistens” in its own way.
September was also when I had the joy of giving a trunk show at the Vankleek Hill Quilters Guild. Sharing my quilts, chatting about design inspiration, and meeting so many warm, enthusiastic quilters was such a highlight.
October: Panels Star Parade and Fiber Frolic Fun
October was packed! I launched Panel Star Parade, my latest pattern designed especially for those gorgeous quilt panels we all fall in love with (and sometimes let sit in our stash way too long!). This pattern lets the panel shine while giving it a bold, modern frame. I’ve loved seeing how excited people are to finally have a home for their favorite panels.
October also brought some wonderful in-person events:
I visited the Cornwall Quilters Guild for a trunk show. They are such a welcoming, encouraging group. It was great to share my passion for quilting with them.
And… I participated in my first-ever market at the Vankleek Hill Fiber Frolic! Setting up my booth, meeting people face-to-face, and watching folks pick up my patterns in person was surreal and so heartwarming. Definitely one of those “pinch me” moments.
🧵 November: Teaching Time at Auntie Em’s
This November, I kicked off my Ultimate Beginner Quilt class at Auntie Em’s Scrapbooking & Quilting in Cornwall! Teaching and sharing my passion for quilting brings me so much joy! Watching brand-new quilters choose fabrics, sew their first blocks, and get excited about their progress makes my heart so full. There’s nothing quite like seeing someone fall in love with quilting for the first time.
Looking Ahead
It’s been a whirlwind, but the very best kind. More patterns, more classes, and of course, more time playing with fabric are definitely on the horizon.
🩷Thanks for following along and cheering me on. This community means the world to me, and I’m so grateful to share this quilty journey with you.
